Biography:

Suresh was an Indian director has directed films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

He started with “Sathya” (1988) and is renowned for directing Rajinikanth in blockbusters like “Annamalai” and “Baashha”. He also worked with other stars like Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, solidifying his place in Indian cinema.

He was born in Mumbai, Suresh Krissna started by managing accounts for L. V. Prasad in Mumbai. He rose to become Prasad’s executive assistant and oversaw the Mumbai office. His film journey began with assisting on “Ek Duuje Ke Liye” and later working as Balachander’s assistant director on Thaneer Thaneer and Achamillai Achamillai.

Suresh Krissna’s directorial debut was “Sathya” with Kamal Haasan. He received the Nandi Award for “Prema”. His collaboration with Rajinikanth in “Annamalai” and “Baashha” broke box-office records. He also directed “Daddy” with Chiranjeevi and published “My Days with Baashha”. Both Krissna and Mani Ratnam were credited by Rajinikanth for making him a superstar.

Director Suresh Krissna has helmed 40 films starring legends like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. He’s also directed successful TV series like Mahabharatham on Sun TV. Now, he’s venturing into web series with “In the Name of God” in Telugu, showcasing his multi-talented nature across various media.
