Sunny Wayne, born as Sujith Unnikrishnan on August 19, 1983, is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Hailing from Wayanad, he is the son of Unnikrishnan and Soumini. Sunny graduated from the Calicut University Institute of Engineering and Technology in Malappuram district, Kerala.
He entered the film industry with his debut in “Second Show” in 2012, where he received acclaim for his portrayal of Kurudi. Following this, he made a cameo appearance in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s “Thattathin Marayathu” (2012). In 2013, he played a supporting role in Rajeev Ravi’s “Annayum Rasoolum,” where his performance as Rasool’s friend Ashley earned praise. Sunny continued to impress with roles like cosmetic surgeon Roshan in “Nee Ko Njaa Cha” and Satan Xavier in “Aadu.” His character Poombata Gireesh in “Annmariya Kalippilannu” (2016) was also well-received.
In 2018, Sunny Wayne ventured into production with his company Sunny Wayne Productions. The company produced a theater drama titled “Moment Just Before Death” and two films: “Padavettu,” starring Nivin Pauly, and “Appan,” where Sunny himself starred.
Beyond Malayalam cinema, Sunny made his Tamil debut with “Gypsy.” He continues to contribute to the industry with his talent and entrepreneurial endeavors.
