Biography:

Shivasri Kanchi (SS Kanchi) is a Director, Writer, Script coordinator and an Actor in the Telugu film industry. He is a prominent story writer in Tollywood. He has penned scripts for the block buster movies MaryadaRamanna and Eega. Shivasri Kanchi is debuting into Direction and his maiden venture is named SHOWTIME, starring fresh faces. The movie is to hit screens around January 2017. Apart from writing he also acted and directed some of the episodes of a telugu sitcom which earned him immense popularity.

S.S Kanchi has done his formal education in chennai. He started his career assisting Sri. K. Raghavendra Rao as assistant director. Worked with him for the films Sundarakanda, Allari Priyudu, Major Chandrakanth, Muddula Priyudu.

Got associated with Gunnam Ganga Raju at Just Yellow Media, and was instrumental in shaping the blockbuster series in Telugu T.V history “Amrutham”. He contributed to this serial as a writer, director and actor. He has penned for the initial 50 episodes, directed for 40 episodes and acted upto 80th episode. His character “Ambhujam” has brought him major recognition

Shivasri Kanchi started assisting Mr. K. V. Vijayendra Prasad in penning stories and screenplay for movies. The saga continued from Sye, Chathrapathi, Vikramarkudu, Yamadonga and Maghadheera. He also penned screenplay for movie Sri Krishna 2006 in the year 2006.
