Shantanu Moitra started his musical journey at a young age. He was trained in classical music and played the tabla. He later learned to play the piano and developed a strong passion for music composition.

He made his mark in the Indian film industry with his debut film soundtrack for the critically acclaimed movie “Parineeta” in 2005.
