Shailender Vyas is a filmmaker, writer, producer and director from India who is renowned for his unique storytelling in the Bollywood cinema and online entertainment space. He made his first mark with the highly appreciated independent movie Three Colours & a Canvas (2014), then Palki (2016), both of which have been appreciated at various international film festivals for their unique narrative style. Vyas rose to fame with his acclaimed creation, writing, directing and producing the popular SonyLIV sci-fi thriller JL50 (2020). Highly appreciated for its distinct combination of science fiction, mystery and time travel elements, this series marked him as one of the pioneer filmmakers in India’s online OTT space. Known for creating profound and genre defying stories filled with emotion and striking visuals, Shailender Vyas is recognized as one of the most notable filmmakers in Indian digital entertainment space today.
