Biography:

Junaid Sheikh, born on July 31, 1984, is a prominent Indian actor and model. His acting career, which took off around 2010, has seen him appear in numerous commercially successful films in the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam film industries, typically in antagonist roles. However, Junaid’s journey to stardom had its beginnings in Jammu, India, where he was born. He received his early education at Presentation Convent High School in Jammu and pursued a degree in Information Technology from Manipal University. Later, he furthered his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business from Arizona.

In his initial career, Junaid embarked on an international modeling journey and graced the runways for renowned designers, with one of them being South India’s esteemed fashion designer, Hari Anand. Notable moments in his modeling career include being a showstopper for Sharad and Soniya in Pune Fashion Week in 2011 and for Hari Anand at the Kerala International Fashion Week in 2013 and Citadel Fashion Fiesta in 2014. He also gained recognition as a fashion icon during the Kerala Fashion League held in May 2015. However, his ambitions eventually shifted towards the film industry, prompting him to enroll in Mumbai’s Barry John’s Acting Studio. His debut acting role was as a villain in the Telugu film “Mr. Intelligent” in 2010.

Over the next five years, Junaid made his mark in the film world, featuring in over ten movies across Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil cinema. During this period, he had the privilege of working alongside esteemed actors like Mahesh Babu, Vijay, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, B. Unni Krishnan, Joshiy, and Mohanlal. In 2015, he took a significant step by signing on for a Hollywood project, with the movie being produced by Shravan Kumar and Anirup Sharma under the American banner “Sky Innovation” and directed by Sai Kumar Yadav.
