Sai Tamhankar, who was born on June 25, 1986, is an Indian actress who specializes in Marathi and Hindi films. She is known for her flexibility and powerful performances, and she has made a name for herself in Marathi cinema. She has won eight Maharashtracha Favourite Kon awards, three Filmfare Marathi Awards, a Maharashtra State Film Award, and a Filmfare Award, making her one of the best paid actresses in Marathi film.
She made her TV debut in supporting parts in Marathi shows such as Tuzyavina (2003) and rose to fame with Ya Gojirvanya Gharat. Later, she had appearances in the Hindi daily soap operas Anubandh (2007) and Kasturi.
