S. Niranjan Reddy

Biography:

Sirgapoor Niranjan Reddy, an Indian attorney who represents clients in the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and Supreme Court of India, was born on July 22, 1970. He has served as the State of Andhra Pradesh’s representative in the Rajya Sabha from 2022.

He comes from a farming family in the Adilabad district’s Nirmal town. Vidya Sagar Reddy, his father, was a well-known attorney. In 1987, he graduated from Siva Sivani Public School after completing his studies there. After that, he attended Symbiosis Law College in Pune where he completed a 5-year integrated legal program in 1992.

Reddy continues to have a strong interest in the arts and movies. He is the founding trustee of the art foundation Art at Telangana, which was established to advance the regional culture of Telangana before the state of Andhra Pradesh was divided. He is a passionate environmental activist and loves the outdoors. He continues to be fascinated by the artistic sides of filmmaking. Under Ram Gopal Varma’s direction, he acquired experience working as an assistant director. His screenplay for “The Ghazi Attack/Ghazi” is also acknowledged. Among the movies he has produced are Kshanam, Ghazi, Wild Dog (2021), and Acharya (2022), Arjuna Phalguna (2021), Mishan impossible (2022).
