Biography:

Riyaz Khan is a television and film actor who has appeared in numerous TV series and more than 100 films in Tamil and Malayalam. Riyaz Khan, who was born on September 9th, 1972, first entered the acting world through Malayalam films, his first being Balachandra Menon’s “Sukham Sukhakaram.” He hasn’t looked back since then and has appeared in films with renowned directors and performers in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

He has acted in supporting roles in several Tamil films, portraying strong roles such as detectives and bodybuilders. Following his part in the critically acclaimed film Ghajini, directed by A. R. Murugadoss and starring Suriya and Asin, he experienced tremendous success. He had such a significant influence that Aamir Khan, who played the lead part in the Hindi version, asked him to reprise the role.

The Hindi remake was also directed by A. R. Murugadoss. Since then, he has appeared in numerous films like as Sura, Thirupathi, Arasangam, Aadhavan, Cheena Thaana 001, Winner, etc. in supporting and cameo parts as well as second lead roles. In the film “Winner,” where his comedic tracks with Vadivelu became cult hits, he demonstrated his talent for slapstick humour.

He had been in a number of Tamil television serials before making a significant impact when he took on a role in the enduring Sun TV series “Kudumbam.” He is married to Uma Riyaz Khan, a fellow actress who works in both film and television and is the granddaughter of famous actors Kamesh and Kamala Kamesh. They have two boys, Samshad, who is now 11, and Shariq, who is 19 years old.
