Biography:

Rani Mukerji is an acclaimed Indian actress who primarily works in Bollywood films. She was born on March 21, 1978, in Mumbai, India. Rani comes from a film-oriented family; her father, Ram Mukherjee, was a film director, and her mother, Krishna Mukherjee, is a playback singer.

Rani Mukerji made her acting debut with the Bengali film “Biyer Phool” in 1992. Her breakthrough in Bollywood came with the film “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” (1998), where she portrayed the character of Tina Malhotra alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. The film was a massive success and established Rani as a talented actress in the industry.

She followed up her success with a series of critically acclaimed performances in films like “Ghulam” (1998), “Saathiya” (2002), “Hum Tum” (2004), and “Black” (2005). Her role in “Black” as a deaf and blind girl earned her widespread recognition and accolades, including several awards.
