Rahul Kohli

Biography:

Rahul Kohli  is an English actor best recognized for his television roles, including Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in iZombie (2015–2019), Owen Sharma in The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), Sheriff Hassan in Midnight Mass (2021), Napoleon Usher in The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), and Sunil Bhandari in Death and Other Details (2024).

Born in England to Indian immigrant parents, Kohli’s mother was raised in Thailand, and his father spent part of his youth in Kenya. Two of his grandparents hailed from regions of British India that are now part of modern-day Pakistan.

Kohli attended Northolt High School before continuing his education at Uxbridge College, where he studied media. In 2006, he trained with the Questors Theatre company.

Kohli gained widespread recognition for his role as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti in the TV series iZombie, appearing in all 71 episodes from 2015 to 2019. Other notable roles include the 2018 film Happy Anniversary, the TV series Supergirl (2017–2019), and the animated series Harley Quinn (2019–2020). He starred as Owen Sharma in The Haunting of Bly Manor, a Netflix horror series by Mike Flanagan, which premiered in October 2020. Kohli also played Sheriff Hassan Shabazz in Midnight Mass, another supernatural drama by Flanagan, released in September 2021.

In July 2018, Kohli announced his engagement to Yasmin Molloy, though the engagement ended privately. He later confirmed that he is in a relationship with video game writer Alanah Pearce, with the couple frequently streaming together.

In addition to acting, Kohli is known for his support of Liverpool F.C. and his passion for gaming.
