Pruthvi Ambaar is an Indian actor known for his work in Kannada and Tulu cinema. He began his professional journey as a radio jockey in Mangaluru, where he was popularly known as RJ Nagaraj. During the early stages of his career, he was actively involved in creating short films, both as a director and an actor.
His acting debut came with the Tulu film Barke in 2014. That same year, he landed a lead role opposite Sonal Monteiro in Pilibail Yamunakka, directed by K Sooraj Shetty—a film that became a notable success in the Tulu film industry. Pruthvi continued to build his career with roles in several Tulu and Kannada movies.
His breakthrough came with the Kannada film Dia in 2020, which brought him widespread recognition for his performance.
