Biography:

Indian television personality Simson Raja, also referred to as Pattimandram Raja, is well-known for his remarks on chat shows in Tamil (Pattimandram). His appearances on Solomon Pappaiah’s debating discussion shows elevated him to a global celebrity among Tamil homes. He was the anchor of Sun TV’s Vaanga Pesalaam talk show, which aired every day. Raja works as a banker by trade. He performed in a few well-known Tamil films, including Sivaji, Guru En Aalu, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, Mappillai, and Ko. He received his degree from The American College in Madurai.

“Pattimandram” Raja was born in the Keezhamathur village, which is close to Madurai. His parents worked as teachers in the village school. He finished his education at Madurai’s St. Britto Higher School.

Raja completed his B.Com. at American College in Madurai before attending Madurai Kamaraj University to study journalism and mass communications for his M.A. From 1984 to 2019, he was employed for United Bank of India.

Along with Solomon Pappaiah, Raja visited numerous nations and gained notoriety as a debate speaker. His clever, perceptive, and hilarious statements that shed light on numerous topics in the well-known Pattimandram show telecasts during festival periods on Sun TV helped him become well-known. Through conversation shows like Vaanga Pesalam that were shown on Sun TV, he also provided insightful information on current affairs.[1] Over 9,000 performances have been staged by Raja worldwide, encompassing the US, UK, France, Australia, Japan, Middle East, Seychelles, South Africa, Singapore, Southeast Asia, and Sri Lanka.
