P. Suneel Kumar Reddy is an Andhra Pradesh native who was born in Alaganipadu, in the Potti Sriramulu Nellore district. He attended school in the northern coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh, in Vizag, Sompeta. His mechanical engineering degree was successfully completed. Because he had a passion for journalism, he founded Kokila and served as its editor and publisher. Later on, he started City Roundup, a daily newspaper published in Visakhapatnam in the evening.
P. Indian director, screenwriter, and producer Suneel Kumar Reddy[1] specialises in Telugu cinema. Many critically acclaimed films, including Sontha Ooru, Gangaputrulu, Gulf, Oka Romantic Crime Katha, and Oka Criminal Prema Katha, have been directed by him. Suneel Kumar Reddy is connected to the South Indian film production company Sravya Films. In addition, he oversees Screenshot Infotainment Pvt Ltd as managing director. His films took part in multiple international film festivals and were honoured with eighteen State Awards. For his film Gangaputrulu, he received awards for best dialogue writer and best director. For movie mogul D. Rama Naidu, he directed the film Nenem…Chinna Pillana? under the Suresh Productions banner. He was on the International Children’s Film Festival India jury. He performed film workshops all over India and served as a guest faculty member for the Ramanaidu and Annapurna Film Schools.
A deaf and mute couple fall in love in the film Silence Please, which served as Suneel Kumar Reddy’s debut feature. His second film, Hero, was a children’s picture that won three Nandi Awards and demonstrated the value of both education and physical activity for kids. In addition, Reddy directed the documentary Chance, which was screened at the Cairo Film Festival and took home two Nandi Awards. Sontha Ooru, which Reddy released in 2009, was well-received by both critics and the general public. Tirrtha, who made her acting debut, took home the Best Actress trophy, and the movie won Best Film of the Year. The movie Gangaputrulu, which is about a community of fishermen, took home the Best Director and Best Dialogue Writer Reddy awards.Marubhoomigal, his most recent Malayalam movie, took home three esteemed Kerala Critics Awards for Makeup, Lyrics, and Cinematography.
