Arjun Janya, born Lokesh Kumar, is a prominent Indian film score, soundtrack composer, and singer known for his work in the Kannada film industry. He marked his entry into the industry with the 2006 Kannada film “Autograph Please,” laying the foundation for a successful career ahead. Initially, he assisted renowned composers such as V. Manohar and K. Kalyan, gaining valuable experience and exposure in the field.
Despite initial struggles, Arjun’s breakthrough came with the film “Birugaali” in 2009, where his compositions garnered widespread recognition and appreciation. Subsequently, he tasted further success with films like “Sanchari” in 2010 and “Kempe Gowda” in 2011, which catapulted him to fame in the industry.
Arjun Janya’s notable achievements include winning the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for his work in “Alemaari” (2012), the SIIMA Award for Best Music Director for “Romeo” (2012), and the Filmfare Best Music Director award for “Bhajarangi” (2013).
