Omari Hardwick

Biography:

American actor Omari Latif Hardwick was born on January 9, 1974. He is well-known for playing Vanderohe in Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead (2021) and James St. Patrick/Ghost, the main character in Starz’s Power. Saved and Dark Blue, Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna (2008), Kick-Ass (2010), Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls (2010), and Andre in BET Network’s Being Mary Jane are among his other notable roles. Hardwick’s CD Concrete & Whiskey Act II Part 1: A Bourbon 30 Series was nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Poetry CD. His album Pages received a nomination for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
