Michael Disco
Biography:
American film producer Michael Disco serves as AGBO’s president of film. In addition to producing The Flash, he is now producing The Bluff and The Whisper Man. He used to work for New Line Cinema as an executive. Vermont is where disco was born and reared. He studied at Syracuse University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in policy studies in 2000.
Disco started working as an intern for producer Jon Peters in 2000. That same year, he began working in the marketing department at New Line Cinema before taking on the role as assistant to film executive Toby Emmerich. Disco worked for New Line for almost twenty years before being appointed executive vice president of production. In 2010, he was listed as one of the top executives in the film industry under 35 to watch by The Hollywood Reporter Next Generation. Hairspray, Valentine’s Day, He’s Just Not That into You, San Andreas, Rampage, Central Intelligence, The Disaster Artist, Game Night, and the Horrible Bosses series were among the 34 films he oversaw as a New Line executive that brought in $4.5 billion globally.
