Anna Ador

Biography:

Anastasiya Ador, a Belarusian-Ukrainian artist and filmmaker, was born into an academic family in Belarus but harbored a passion for the performing arts from an early age. Engaging in stage plays and film productions, she garnered recognition by winning international talent competitions across Egypt, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. Her affinity for India deepened as she began learning Indian classical dance at the Indian Embassy in Minsk.

At the age of sixteen, amidst challenging economic circumstances in her homeland, Anastasiya made the bold decision to relocate to India. She pursued a diploma at a film school in Delhi and later completed her Masters in Drama from East15 Acting School in London, demonstrating her commitment to her craft. Fluent in seven languages, she has gained acclaim for her diverse acting roles, notably portraying characters like Svetlana in Prime’s “FArfi,” Chloe in MX Player’s “Campus Diaries,” and Aimee in Netflix’s “Aranyak.”

Recognized for her talent and potential, Anastasiya was selected for Aluna Lab, an initiative led by Vanessa Kirby, which supports emerging directors transitioning from stage to screen. Her short films, including “Sthir” and “No Lift,” have been showcased at various international film festivals, further solidifying her reputation as a multifaceted creator.

Anastasiya remains dedicated to her work across both screen and stage, currently based in London, where she continues to push artistic boundaries and captivate audiences with her compelling storytelling.
