Marko Zaror Aguad is an actor and martial artist from Chile who was born on June 10, 1978. Fernando Zaror, a Chilean, and Gina Aguad, a Peruvian and Palestinian woman, were the parents of Zaror, who was born in Santiago, Chile. At the age of six, he began martial arts self-training. In addition to judo, aikido, wing chun, and shotokan karate, his primary training has been in taekwondo and kickboxing.
In addition to serving as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s stuntman in the 2003 movie The Rundown, Zaror has starred in a number of Spanish-language action movies, such as Chinango and Kiltro. He was a stuntman before playing the violent Colombian prisoner/fighter Raul “Dolor” Quinones in the 2010 movie Undisputed III: Redemption. It was his first American film and the first time he used English in a motion picture. He portrayed Luther Voz’s (Mel Gibson) associate in the 2013 film Machete Kills, with the character named “Zaror.” He also appeared in the Bollywood film Sultan as a finalist in a mixed martial arts competition. He has collaborated on a number of projects with Robert Rodriguez.
