Marc Goldberg
Biography:
Marc Goldberg is an actor, dramatist, translator, and theater director from France. Les Rendez-vous, Goldberg’s debut play, was performed in 1993 after he studied philosophy before joining the Compagnie des Théærophages.
Le Bébé by Marie Darrieussecq with pop icon Lio, A Woman of Mystery by John Cassavetes with Myriam Boyer, which he translated from English to French, and Anthology of Black Humor by André Breton with Bernard Menez and Patrick d’Asumçao are just a few of the 25 plays Goldberg has directed.
The Comérie-François reading committee chose his piece Frickstein’s Pillar. Before relocating to Singapore in 2013, Goldberg worked as an assistant professor at ENSATT and Sciences Po. Since then, he has been a part-time lecturer at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and Lasalle College of the Arts.
