Maia Jae Bastidas is a Canadian actress from Toronto.
She is known for her recurring roles as Eliza Wells in Rabbit Hole, starring Kiefer Sutherland for Paramount+, and as Justine Garcia in the Emmy-nominated Gen V, an The Boys spin-off on Amazon Prime. In 2025, she appeared alongside Golden Globe winner Amanda Seyfried in Seven Veils, written and directed by Academy Award nominee Atom Egoyan, both filmed in Toronto. She also starred opposite Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner in Mayor of Kingstown Season 1, created by Taylor Sheridan for Paramount+.
In 2024, Maia guest-starred as Letty Acosta in High Potential, starring Kaitlin Olson and written by Academy Award nominee Drew Goddard. She also had a recurring guest role in Revival on SyFy in 2025, starring Melanie Scrofano.
Her other notable credits include playing Luciana Rodriguez, a former Colombian FARC soldier, in CBS’s Ransom, which was filmed in Budapest, and portraying Amber in The CW/Netflix’s hit series In the Dark.
Maia studied Theater Arts and Media Production, with a minor in Spanish, at a university in Toronto. Her short film Thumbs (2016) was showcased at the Toronto International Film Festival’s NextWave Showcase.
