Josh Cooke

Biography:

Josh Cooke is an American actor who was born on November 22, 1979. In the 2005 sitcom Committed on NBC, he portrayed the main character Nate Solomon. He made cameos on Dragnet, Century City, Once and Again, 10-8, and Without a Trace.

His roles in Big Day and Four Kings in 2006 were not renewed. Curb Your Enthusiasm featured him. Cooke played Leo Carpenter in the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse in 2009.

He portrayed Rabbi Feldman in the last episode of The King of Queens and Dan Stonewater in the last episode of Scrubs. Cooke portrayed Auggie Harris in Numbers’ Season 6 Episode 7 in 2009. On the sitcom Better with You, which debuted in 2010 and was canceled after 22 episodes, Cooke portrayed Ben Coles.

In addition to making multiple appearances as Louis Greene in the Showtime series Dexter, Cooke voiced a number of characters in Seth Green’s Robot Chicken.

In the third season of CW’s Hart of Dixie, Cooke portrayed Rachel Bilson’s character Zoe Hart’s boyfriend Joel Stevens. In the seventh season of The Middle, Cooke plays Sue Heck’s college professor, whom she has a major crush on.

In 2018, he appeared as Barry, the father of Sheldon’s alleged rival, in Young Sheldon and as Greg, the older lover of Caitlin in Younger. In Grace and Frankie, he briefly portrayed Daniel Penbraith, Mallory Hanson’s lover. In Castle Rock, he played Reeves. Additionally, he appeared as Mason in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s ninth episode of season two.  featured in the Disney Plus series The Right Stuff in 2020 as journalist Loudon Wainwright Jr.
