Biography:
Jennifer Lame is an American film editor who was born in 1981 or 1982 . She is well-known for her roles in Noah Baumbach’s films, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Hereditary, Tenet, and Manchester by the Sea. Lame earned the 2023 Academy Award for Best Film Editing for her work editing Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. She is married to film producer Craig Shilowich and hails from Narberth, Pennsylvania. Lame began using Price Check for film editing. She now frequently works with Noah Baumbach on his movies, such as Marriage Story, The Meyerowitz Stories, While We’re Young, Mistress America, and Frances Ha. In addition, she edited Tyrel, Manchester by the Sea, Paper Towns, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Oppenheimer, Midsommar, Tenet, and Hereditary. As a well-known female editor, she was chosen Time’s “Person of the Week” just before she received her first Oscar. She worked as editor for Sphere in Las Vegas in 2025 on a “immersive” adaptation of the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.
