Hemanti Sarkar, an editor, pursued her education in film and video editing at FTTI, Pune. She began her professional journey collaborating closely with the renowned editor Renu Saluja, a trailblazer in the New Age Cinema Movement and one of the earliest female editors in India.
Hemanti Sarkar has gained recognition for her work on films such as Stree (2018), English Vinglish (2012), and Airlift (2016).
