Gayathiri Venkatagiri, also known as Gayathri Iyer, is an Indian actress and model from Tamil Nadu, who was raised in Kochi, Kerala. She has primarily worked in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, and Bengali films.
Her breakthrough role in Kannada cinema came with Namo Bhootatma, a remake of the Tamil film Yaamirukka Bayamey. Produced by Eldred Kumar under RS Infotainment, the film featured Komal and Harish Raj in lead roles. Namo Bhootatma was a commercial success, running for 100 days in Karnataka and earning positive audience reception.
Following this, she starred in Ouija, a Kannada film produced by Vega Entertainment. The movie, shot in Malaysia, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, featured an ensemble cast including Shraddha Das, Madhuri Itagi, Sayaji Shinde, and Bharath.
Expanding her career to television, Gayathri made her small-screen debut in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural thriller Haiwaan: The Monster. Her performance was well-received, particularly for her natural portrayal of an antagonist.
