Dr. Salur Koteshwara Rao, professionally known as Koti, is a prominent Indian composer and singer renowned for his prolific work in Telugu cinema. Born into a family steeped in musical tradition, as the son of veteran composer S. Rajeswara Rao, Koti’s journey into the world of music was destined from the start.

In the early 1980s, Koti joined forces with Somaraju, affectionately known as Raj, the son of T. V. Raju, forming the iconic duo Raj-Koti. Together, they embarked on a remarkable musical journey, leaving an indelible mark on Telugu cinema. Their collaboration resulted in the composition of music for approximately 180 films, showcasing their exceptional talent and creative synergy.
