Biography:

Ella Bright is a BAFTA- and Emmy-nominated actress and singer from Britain and America who has made herself known as one of the most promising emerging talents of world television and streaming media. She was born in New York City and brought up in North London and has dual British and American nationality. Ella started her acting career at the London stage in 2017 where she played Lily Potter Jr. in the West End production of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” at The Palace Theatre.Bright came to fame through her role of Darrell Rivers, the main character in the BBC/CBBC television adaptation of the novels by Enid Blyton, Malory Towers (2020-2025). Her performance was awarded a BAFTA nomination in the Children’s category and an International Emmy nomination. In 2023, Ella added to her reputation through playing Young Catherine (Kate) Middleton in the last season of the acclaimed Netflix series The Crown.

Ella Bright became an internationally successful streamer in 2026, thanks to her first leading role in the romantic drama series, Off Campus, on Prime Video. She is not just an accomplished singer but also did the singing for the soundtrack of the show, which includes a duet with Niall Horan for the deluxe edition.
