From Delhi, in the center of India, comes Deeya Damini, a trained classical dancer and thespian. She attended Delhi University to study English literature. She joined the Shivaji College-Vayam Theatre Society there, began performing, and finally developed a passion for movies. Deeya claims to be a proud Pahadi from the tranquil hills of Uttrakhand, despite having been born and reared in Delhi. In Ziddi Girls, she makes her debut as Wallika Bisht, a girl in a wheelchair.
