Biography:

Prasad, who was born to the couple Madhav Rao and Subbalakshmi in 1965. His father was a makeup man in South India, and his mother was a homemaker. Prasad spent his earlier years in Chennai.

After completing his SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate), he joined the Film Institute in Chennai to pursue a Diploma in Cinematography (D.F.T.-Diploma in Film Technology). However, his passion for photography was so strong that he dropped out of college to become an assistant to VSR Swamy. Later, in 1992, he moved to Hyderabad.
