Babs Olusanmokun

Biography:

Nigerian-American actor Babs Olusanmokun is well recognized for his roles as Jamis in Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024) and Dr. Joseph M’Benga in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022–present). Additionally, he voiced and did motion capture for the character Serrano in the computer game Max Payne 3.

Olusanmokun, who resides in New York, was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Olusanmokun is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and champion who speaks Portuguese, English, French, and Yoruba fluently.
