His aspirations to become a successful choreographer materialized with the release of the Telugu film “Kotha Bangaru Lokam” in 2008.
The recognition garnered for his choreography in this film marked a turning point, propelling him into the Tamil film industry as a sought-after choreographer. The breakthrough in Tamil cinema came with the movie “Thiruvilayadal Aarambam,” catapulting Baba Bhaskar into the limelight and earning him widespread acclaim. This pivotal film provided him the opportunity to collaborate with leading actors in the Tamil film industry, including luminaries such as Rajinikanth, Vijay, Ajith Kumar, Suriya, Dhanush, Siddharth, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, Prabhu Deva, and Vishal.
Simultaneously, he made significant contributions to the Telugu film industry, working alongside top actors like Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Varun Sandesh, and more. Transitioning from a successful choreographer to a director, Baba Bhaskar marked his directorial debut with “Kuppathu Raja,” a film that underwent production from 2017 and saw its release in 2019.
