Story:

Director Prasanth Pandiyaraj’s upcoming family drama Maaman, whose trailer was released on Thursday, promises to explore a number of themes, including a family that never gives up on one another, a touching union between an uncle and his nephew in the delivery room, and the love he shares with his sister and his own wife.

The captivating family story with themes of love and how much they are willing to cling to it in times of trouble is what the three-minute teaser promises. Aishwarya Lekshmi plays his love interest/wife, while Swasika, who left a lasting impression on Tamil viewers with last year’s Lubber Pandhu, plays Soori’s older sister. Soori is the devoted maaman who would sacrifice everything for his nephew. It appears that Rajkiran is portraying the granddad. The main narrative of Maaman appears to be what happens when a family crisis occurs and Soori’s affection for his nephew is tested.

The movie brings Soori and producer K Kumar of Lark Studios back together after Garudan in 2024. Vimal, Baba Baskar, and Master are also featured in Maaman. Among them are Prageeth Sivan, Jaya Prakash, Bala Saravanan, Viji Chandrasekar, Geetha Kailasam, Chaya Devi, Nikhila Sankar, and Kalaivani Bhaskar.
