Ashish Shukla

Biography:

Ashish Shukla is an Indian film maker, author, and director who is well known for his contribution to Hindi digital entertainment. His first big break came with the hit web series Undekhi (2020) that he has authored and directed. Considered an excellent show with a suspenseful plot and morally grey characters that depict the realistic world of power, crime, and corruption, the crime thriller web series Undekhi became one of the biggest hits in the library of SonyLIV.

He has produced several successful seasons of Undekhi after the first one. In addition to his success in creating the hit web series, Shukla has added two more projects to his resume: the psychological thriller Duranga (2022) that serves an official remake of the South Korean drama series Flower of Evil, and the legal drama The Great Trials (2024). His storytelling can be described as suspenseful plots and multi-dimensional characters and his skill to merge emotional storytelling with crime and thriller genres.
