Arun Kurian is an Indian actor known for his appearances in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut in feature films with a lead role in the coming-of-age movie Aanandam (2016).
Following his debut, he took on supporting roles in several films including Velipadinte Pusthakam (2017), Oru Yamandan Premakadha (2019), Thamaasha (2019), Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte (2019), and Hridayam (2022).
Originally from Thiruvalla, Arun received his early education at United Indian School in Kuwait until Class 9, after which he continued his studies at Labour India Gurukulam Public School. He pursued a Master’s in Business Administration from the Whistling Woods International Institute in Mumbai. During this time, he also engaged in assisting in the production of advertisement films and sending his profile for audition tests.
Arun’s acting journey began with his portrayal of Varun, one of the seven lead characters in the 2016 film Aanandam, described as a reserved individual. The movie achieved commercial success. He then appeared in Lal Jose’s Velipadinte Pusthakam (2017) as Sameer, a lively college-goer from the city. In 2019, he played supporting roles in Oru Yamandan Premakadha and Thamaasha. Additionally, he assumed one of the lead roles in the 2020 release Paapam Cheyyathavar Kalleriyatte.
