Aadukalam Murugadoss is an Indian actor who has made a name for himself in Tamil language films. His breakthrough in the film industry came when he portrayed Dhanush’s loyal friend in Vetrimaaran’s critically acclaimed movie “Aadukalam” in 2011. It was after this film’s success that he adopted the name of the movie as a prefix to his stage name.
Murugadoss made his initial appearances in Tamil cinema as a background artist and supporting actor. In the 2004 film “Ghilli,” he played a member of Vijay’s Kabaddi team, appearing in various background scenes throughout the movie. He also had a role as a guard in the film “Kanchivaram” in 2008. However, his career took a significant turn with his role in Vetrimaaran’s “Aadukalam,” where he portrayed the character of Dhanush’s steadfast friend. His performance in the film “Mounaguru,” where he played a mentally challenged person, was also well-received by critics, with praise for his wonderful cameo. In 2013, Aadukalam Murugadoss continued to expand his repertoire, appearing as Sasikumar’s friend in “Kutti Puli” and featuring as one of the four main leads in “Thagaraaru.” He also showcased his comedic talent in “Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal.” Notably, he is set to take on a lead role for the first time in the upcoming film “Kalvargal,” which will be directed by Balamithran, marking a significant milestone in his acting career.
