Vijay Devarakonda, born on May 9, 1989, in Achampet, Telangana, is an Indian actor who has significantly impacted the Telugu film industry. His journey to stardom is an inspiring tale of determination and hard work.

Devarakonda’s acting career began in 2011 with a small role in the film “Nuvvila.” However, his breakthrough came in 2016 with the release of the romantic drama “Pelli Choopulu.” The film not only received critical acclaim but also became a commercial success, earning Vijay widespread recognition and a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.

Following the success of “Pelli Choopulu,” Vijay continued to impress audiences with his versatile performances in films such as “Arjun Reddy” (2017), “Geetha Govindam” (2018), and “Dear Comrade” (2019). His portrayal of flawed, yet charismatic characters struck a chord with the audience, earning him a massive fan base and establishing him as one of the most sought-after actors in the industry.

Vijay was born on 9th May 1989 in Achampet, Nagarkurnool district. He has done in his schooling in Puttaparthi, Sri Satyasai school. He likes his school very much and feels it was one of the causes for what he is now. Later he studied at Hyderabad Little Flower College and Badruka College of Commerce. He has one younger brother Anand who worked in Delloite in the USA and is now an upcoming actor in the Telugu film industry. Vijay’s father was an actor and TV director. His mother was a Proprietor of Speak Easy in Hyderabad; she was a soft skill and personality developer trainer.

Apart from his acting career, Vijay is also involved in philanthropic activities. He launched The Deverakonda Foundation, which supports various causes, including education and healthcare for underprivileged children.
