Story:

Rahul Sankrityan and Vijay Deverakonda are collaborating on a historical action drama following Taxiwala. The title and an intriguing sneak peek were revealed today by the developers as promised. Ranabaali, Vijay Deverakonda’s fourteenth film, is about a genocide in pre-Independence India that killed thousands of Indians.

A stirring story full of bravery and revolution is promised in the peek. In a previously unseen persona, Vijay Deverakonda will take on the role of a formidable rebel who rebels against the British. Arnold Vosloo, well known for portraying the antagonist in The Mummy series, plays the British officer Sir Theodore Hector, while Rashmika Mandanna has been cast as the female lead.

According to its creators, Ranabaali is an untold story that needs to be shared. The movie is slated to open in theaters on September 11, 2026. The Ajay-Atul duo will write the music, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing the movie on a large scale.
