Varsha Bollamma is an Indian actress predominantly known for her work in Telugu and Tamil films.
Born and raised in Bangalore, Karnataka, Varsha completed her education in microbiology from Mount Carmel College. She is multilingual and proficient in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and has also learned to speak Telugu.
Varsha initially gained recognition for her Dubsmash videos, particularly her rendition of Nazriya Nazim’s dialogues from the movie “Raja Rani.” She made her acting debut in the film “Sathuran” in 2015 and later played a significant role in “Vetrivel” (2016) alongside M. Sasikumar, portraying the character of Prabhu’s daughter. Her filmography includes movies like “Ivan Yarendru Therikiratha” (2017) and “Yaanum Theeyavan” (2017).
In 2018, Varsha made her Malayalam film debut with “Kalyanam” and also appeared in another Malayalam movie called “Mandharam” alongside Asif Ali. She gained notable attention in Tamil cinema for her performance in the film “96,” where she played a small role alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha. She also appeared in the film “Seemathurai.”
In 2019, Varsha acted in “Pettikadai” starring Samuthirakani, and she also appeared in her third Malayalam film, “Soothrakkaran,” alongside Gokul Suresh.
In the film “Bigil” (2019), directed by Atlee, Varsha portrayed the character of a football player.
