Biography:

Rakhi Sawant, also recognized as Fatima Durrani (born Neeru Bheda on 25 November 1976), is a versatile Indian personality known for her roles as a dancer, model, actress, and television talk show host.

Her contributions span across Hindi cinema, with appearances in a few Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, and Tamil films. Notably, Rakhi gained prominence as a contestant in the inaugural season of the Indian reality television series, Bigg Boss 1 (2006), and later as a challenger and finalist in Bigg Boss 14 (2020).

Additionally, she took on the role of the prospective bride in Season 1 of the Swayamvar TV series. In the entertainment industry, Rakhi Sawant has solidified her image as a Bollywood sex symbol.

Beyond her entertainment career, Sawant delved into politics by launching her own political party named Rashtriya Aam Party, spearheaded by Jai Shah, with the intention of contesting the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. Following the elections, she aligned herself with the Republican Party of India (A).

Rakhi Sawant’s personal background reveals that she was born as Neeru Bheda, and her mother, Maya, later married Anand Sawant, a police constable at Worli Police Station. In adopting her step-father’s surname, Anand Sawant, Rakhi reflects the amalgamation of her personal and professional identities.

In 2019, Sawant entered into matrimony with Ritesh, an NRI individual; however, their union concluded with a divorce in early 2022. Subsequently, in May 2022, she tied the knot with her boyfriend of a few months, Adil Khan Durrani.
