Indian actress Mirnalini Ravi appears in Tamil and Telugu movies. Super Deluxe, a 2019 Tamil film, marked her acting debut. Mirnalini next played the lead in the 2019 film Champion, for which she was nominated for a SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Tamil.
With the 2019 Telugu film Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Ravi made her film debut. She was nominated for the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu. Since then, she has made appearances in Cobra (2022), Enemy, Jango, and both (2021).
Ravi was born into a Tamil family in Pondicherry. At the Bangalore-based East Point College of Engineering and Technology, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication. She started off working for IBM in Bangalore as a software specialist before quitting to pursue acting full-time. Both Tamil and Telugu are known to her. Additionally, Ravi started posting popular Dubsmash and TikTok videos.
When director Thiagarajan Kumararaja saw one of Ravi’s videos and approached her for an audition for the 2019 Tamil film Super Deluxe, Ravi officially started her acting career. In contrast to Vijay Ram, she played an extraterrestrial. The next year, opposite Atharvaa, Ravi made her Telugu cinema debut with Gaddalakonda Ganesh. As reported by the Times of India, “Mrinalini delivers an impressive performance in the screen time she has.” She then played the lead opposite Vishwa in the film Champion. Sify said, “Although Mrinalini’s angle provides a twist, her act is not up to the mark.”
