Indian cinematographer and producer Jomon T. John ISC was born on February 17, 1982, and he primarily works in Malayalam films. 2011 saw Jomon make his film debut with Chaappa Kurishu. Jomon’s work on the movies Nee-Na, Ennu Ninte Moideen, and Charlie earned him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography in 2015.
The films Thattathin Marayathu (2012), Ayalum Njanum Thammil (2012), Vikramadithyan (2014), Ennu Ninte Moideen (2015), Charlie (2015), Jacobinte Swargarajyam (2016), Beautiful (2011), and Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019) are among his well-known works. Additionally, he contributed to the Hindi motion pictures Sooryavanshi (2020), Simmba (2018), and Golmaal Again (2017). Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, a movie, was co-produced by Jomon, marking his feature film debut. Jomon belongs to the Indian Society of Cinematographers as well.
Jomon graduated from Government Film and Television Institute in Bangalore with a diploma in cinematography. After that, he started working in the commercial film sector. He was hired by Sameer Thahir to serve as the cinematographer for his first feature film, Chaappa Kurish (2011). From then on, he was involved in a number of popular movies. After receiving great praise for his performances in Charlie, Picket 43, Ennu Ninte Moideen, and Oru Vadakkan Selfie in 2015, Gautham Vasudev Menon, a Tamil director, quickly signed him for the Dhanush-starring film Enai Noki Paayum Thota. Menon signed him for his upcoming Dhruva Natchathiram after the movie was finished, and they shot a 2:49 teaser in New York City.
