Biography:

Flora Saini, also known as Asha Saini and Mayuri, is an Indian actress and model with a diverse career spanning Bollywood, as well as Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu cinema. She began her schooling in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, and later continued her education in Delhi’s Army Public School. Her journey into modeling began in Kolkata, where she participated in the Miss Kolkata beauty pageant.

Flora’s acting career kicked off with her debut in the Telugu film “Prema Kosam” in 1999, and she was rechristened as Asha Saini by the film’s producer. She went on to play supporting roles in several Telugu films, with “Narasimha Naidu” (2002) being a notable success, earning her the nickname “Lux Papa.” She also ventured into Hindi and Kannada films, with her most notable Hindi film being “Love in Nepal” (2004). However, she faced a setback in 2008 when she was arrested in Chennai on charges of forged visa documents, leading to a temporary ban from the Tamil film industry. This ban was later lifted, and she continued to work in various films and web series.

In addition to her film career, Flora Saini has received awards and recognition for her work, such as the Uttarakhand Ratna Award and The Great Daughter of Soil Award in Mauritius for her anti-poverty initiatives. She has also ventured into the world of web series, with notable appearances in series like “Gandii Baat” and “Mayanagari-City of Dreams.” In 2019, she made her debut in a Bengali web series, “Dupur Thakurpo,” and has been associated with the short video app “Firework” through “Celeb Connex.”
