Amritha Aiyer, an Indian actress, predominantly appears in Tamil and Telugu films. She began her journey in the film industry with uncredited roles in movies like Lingaa, Tenaliraman, Pokkiri Raja, and Theri.
Her breakthrough came when she made her lead role debut in the Tamil film Padaiveeran (2018) alongside Vijay Yesudas, where she portrayed the character Malar. She received praise for her performance, with reviewers noting that she fit her role aptly. Following this, she played the lead role opposite Vijay Antony in Kaali (2018) and essayed the role of Thendral, the captain of the Tamil Nadu football team, in Atlee’s Bigil (2019) alongside Vijay.
In 2021, she marked her entry into Telugu cinema with the film Red, starring opposite Ram Pothineni and directed by Kishore Tirumala. She later appeared in Vanakkam Da Mappilei opposite G. V. Prakash Kumar and Lift, which received mixed to highly positive reviews from critics. She also had a release titled Arjuna Phalguna opposite Sree Vishnu, which received mixed reviews.
