Story:

Euphoria- Season 1 follows Rue Bennett, a troubled 17-year-old recovering drug addict who returns home after rehab with no real intention of staying clean. After spending some time in a recovery center, Rue comes back home and starts fighting with her inner demons. In such conditions, she finds a strong connection with Jules Vaughn, a mysterious newcomer trying to find herself among the people and accept her true self. In addition, other adolescents, like Jules and Rue, have to deal with toxic relations, violence, sexuality, peer pressure, and the dominance of social networks.

Every character’s issues are presented to viewers in an interesting manner, thanks to the stylization of the story, its narrative, and the beautiful cinematography used throughout the series. It is possible to see how Nate Jacobs controls and intimidates his girlfriend, Cassie, and what challenges she faces while trying to become more confident. Zendaya’s interpretation of the lead role deserves special attention because of her outstanding performance.

In general, the creators of Euphoria- Season 1, Sam Levinson, succeeded in making a cultural phenomenon that stands out from other teen dramas due to its controversial themes, stylish fashion, powerful musical score, and cinematic style.
