A couple of weeks back we reported that India’s biggest director SS Rajamouli won the prestigious New York Film Critics Circle in the Best Director category for the globally acclaimed blockbuster, RRR.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that Rajamouli received the NYFCC award. Reportedly, the award ceremony happened at a gala in New York City. Speaking at the event after receiving the award, Rajamouli said“It means a lot to me that you’ve given me this award. Thank you so much. Thanks to you, a lot of people have heard about our little film from the south of India”.
Rajamouli along with his family members attended the awards ceremony. It is widely known that RRR is also up for Academy Awards consideration. Let’s wish that the film receives awards Oscar awards as well and becomes a global trending topic.
