Salman Khan has received another death threat this time through a message sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp helpline.
The message warned of plans to attack him, enter his home, and blow up his car with a bomb. Police have filed a case against unknown individuals and are investigating the origin of the threat.
This marks the fifth such threat in two years. Previously members of the Bishnoi gang had fired shots at Salman’s house, prompting an increase in his security.
The gang’s leader, Lawrence Bishnoi has publicly expressed anger towards Salman over a decades old blackbuck poaching case, though the court has cleared the actor of all charges.
Meanwhile, Salman was last seen in Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss which released during Eid. Despite the festive timing, the film had a modest run at the box office.
