As we all know that Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his Mumbai home and the case is still being investigated. A man named Shariful Islam was arrested in connection with the incident.
However in a surprising twist, the chargesheet revealed that the fingerprints collected from Saif’s house mostly didn’t match Shariful’s.
Out of 20 fingerprint samples collected by the CID’s Fingerprint Bureau, 19 didn’t match Shariful’s prints. These samples were taken from the bathroom door, bedroom sliding door and cupboard door in Saif’s house.
Only one fingerprint found on the eighth floor of the building matched Shariful’s. The Mumbai police filed a detailed chargesheet last week in the Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
Saif was attacked on 16th January and was immediately taken to the hospital. Thankfully he recovered quickly and was discharged soon after.
