Ilayaraaja Sends Legal Notice To Ajith’s Good Bad Ugly Team

Ilayaraaja has been sending legal notices to filmmakers who use his songs without permission. Though many people criticize or troll him for this, he doesn’t seem to care much.

Now, he has sent a legal notice to the team of “Good Bad Ugly“, which stars Ajith in the lead. The movie released last weekend and is doing well in Tamil Nadu.

The film used three of Ilayaraaja’s famous songs, “En Jodi Manja Kuruvi”, “Ilamai Itho”, and “Otha Rupayum Tharen”.

Ilayaraja claims they used the songs without his permission and has asked the producers, Mythri Movie Makers, to pay Rs. 5 crores as compensation.

So far, the team hasn’t responded. The film is directed by Adhik Ravichandran and also stars Trisha, Arjun Das, Sunil, Prasanna, and Priya Prakash Varrier in key roles.
