War

Story:

“War” is an action thriller film in Hindi directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. It is the third installment in the YRF Spy Universe and features Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The music for the film is composed by Vishal–Shekhar, with lyrics by Kumaar. The film’s themes are composed by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara.

The story revolves around Kabir, a secret agent who goes rogue after a mission to capture a terrorist goes wrong. His boss assigns Khalid, another agent and his protégé, to track him down.

“War” was released theatrically on October 2, 2019, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, along with dubbed versions in Telugu and Tamil. It became a major success, grossing ₹4.75 billion and becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2019. A sequel titled “War 2” is currently in production and is expected to be released on August 14, 2025.
