TheatreRecognized for his roles in the horror-comedy series Raju Gari Gadhi and the movie Genius, Ashwin Babu has started a new endeavor. He is working with M R Krishna, a first-time director, on a medical thriller with a cutting-edge concept. The film’s backer is DSR, which operates under Shree Shailendra Cinemas and has funded well-known movies including Pilla Zamindar, Drona, and Mr. Nookayya. Palak Lalwani is slated to play the movie’s female lead.
The movie is called Vachina Vaadu Gowtham, and it started today. The supporting cast of the thriller includes Madhavi, RJ Hemanth, Sanja Janak, Nassar, and Achyuth Kumar, who is famous from Kantara. Several prominent figures from the business attended the launch of Vachina Vaadu Gowtham at Ramanaidu Studios, including actor Raja Ravindra, directors AS Ravi Kumar and V Samudra, producers Damodara Prasad and Bekkem Venugopal.
While Damodara Prasad sounded the clapboard for the first shot featuring Ashwin and Palak Lalwani, with Bellamkonda Suresh switching on the camera. Producer Anil Sunkara directed the sequence. Actor-producer DSR a.k.a DS Rao expressed his happiness about returning to film production after a break. “I liked the story that MR Krishna narrated to me. Under the guidance of Suresh Babu garu, we are going ahead after being convinced with the story.”
